You have a fascinating blog. Thank you so much for sharing. Warm greetings from Montreal, Canada. I have been trying to find a cousin for decades now and it has proven to be extremely difficult. I don't have an account on Ancestry, but I fortunately managed to find many of my cousins via Google and Facebook, and a lot of hits and misses until I hit the correct ones.

Hi Linda,
Thank you for your kind words. DNA testng will help you find more cousins, some probably quite distant. I know you cxan buy a test in Canada from familytreedna.com and probably from Ancestry.com and 23andMe.com. Take a look at my website for an overview: http://doriswheeler.org/ui269.htm. As for genealogy, be sure to search at FamilySearch.org and Wikitree.com. Both are free and have huge databases, complete with sources to help you validate the accuracy of the information.
